# Web (browser)

The browser is the primary Stratix surface. Same hostname — the experience switches once you sign in.

* **Stratix Public** — `stratix.layerlens.ai`, anonymous, free
* **Stratix Premium** — `stratix.layerlens.ai`, after you sign in, ECU PAYG

## Browser support

Modern Chromium-based (Chrome, Edge, Brave), Firefox, Safari. Mobile browsers supported for the Public catalog; the Premium dashboard renders best on a desktop viewport.

## Authentication (Premium)

* OAuth (Google, GitHub)
* Email + password
* SSO (Okta, Azure AD / Entra ID, SAML 2.0, OIDC) on Enterprise tier

The dashboard manages the session token; you don't see it. SDK and CLI use API keys instead.

## Dark mode

Both experiences render in light or dark mode based on your `prefers-color-scheme`. Dark-mode screenshots in this documentation are captured separately.

## Performance

* The Public catalog is largely cached at the edge for fast browsing
* The Premium dashboard fetches per-organization data on every navigation
* Rate limiting is applied per IP for Public and per API key for Premium
